Mind2Wealth- ‘The Power to Change Lives’
Romans 12:2 (New Living Translation)

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Romans 12:2 (Amplified Bible)

Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

Romans 12:2 (King James Version)

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The word wealth brings into the mind thoughts about riches, plenty of money and the ability to buy and enjoy whatever one wants. It is something most people want, but do not believe they can get and enjoy. It is not restricted only to money and possessions. It manifests as plentitude in various and many forms in our life and in nature. A person can be wealthy with love, compassion, goodness, strength, energy, knowledge and wisdom. Nature manifests wealth in the many life forms and plants it produces, and in the endless stars and worlds it has created.

Success comes to those who think success and have a constant positive mental attitude. Failure comes to those who indifferently allow themselves to think negative and think failure. In a continent like Africa, where the vast majority of people are considered poor and in which the Governments beg for handouts, success consciousness is hard to find in such an environment. Remember, that ‘whatever the mind can conceive and believe IT can achieve’. This famous statement was made by Napoleon Hill in his ground breaking book, ‘Think and Grow Rich’.

Changing how you think can change your life. And not just in narrow, limited ways. Changing your attitude and your mindset can drive profound changes throughout all areas of your life. This is NOT just wishful thinking or self-help hype – it is backed up by sound science and biblical scripture. Research consistently shows that optimists – those with a positive outlook on life – live very different lives from pessimists. The belief that optimism is a key driver in success is not new. In the 1950s, for example, Norman Vincent Peale published The Power of Positive Thinking. The book’s message – that faith, prayer and positive thinking were the keys to a successful life – has much in common with modern secular research on optimism.

The first step to make wealth flow into your life is to change your thoughts and attitude toward it. The mind has to be cleared from its wrong concepts about wealth, before it can start to manifest. This is done by bringing to consciousness all of your thoughts and ideas about wealth, money and prosperity. Many people think wealth comes to those that are lucky, or to those that are educated or even worse only to politicians. It is important to stress that ‘wishing will not bring riches. But desiring riches with a state of mind (thoughts) that becomes an obsession, then planning definite ways and means to acquire riches, and backing those plans with persistence which does not recognize failure, will bring riches’. (Hill, 1960).

The potential to achieve abundant success is unlimited for every person. Africa and the whole universe at large contain unlimited wealth. There is plenty of everything in it, and it constantly creates more of everything. It expresses itself through everything, including the individual unit that you consider as yourself. The problem is that negative thoughts and attitudes hamper the natural tendency of the Power of your Mind to freely manifest its creative powers in unlimited ways.

You need to open your mind to prosperity and throw away your limiting thoughts. It does not matter how limited your life and circumstances are at the present moment, because if you choose to change your thoughts and attitudes, and start thinking without imposing limitations, your life will start to change. In your mind, refuse to be tied and limited by your circumstances. Think about possibilities, not about limitations.

The first step from poverty to riches is the most difficult. The key is to realize that all the riches and all the material goods that you acquire begin with you having a clear, concise picture of what you seek. In simple words you must start with a definite purpose in mind. Before you start any journey you must know where you are going, develop a plan of how you will get there and determine what resources you will need to implement your journey plan.  The value of wealth that comes with success is that it carries with it the lessons you have learnt in acquiring it.

Thoughts possess great power. You should be aware of the thoughts you think and admit only positive ones. If you desire success, happiness and riches, admit only these thoughts into your mind. Learn to free your mind from limiting thoughts as suggested earlier, and then use the power of your mind to attract success into your life.

Visualization is one of the most important keys to success. Visualize clearly your desire, put feelings into your mental images, add faith and belief, and you have created a mighty power. Keep an open mind, be willing to act and take up the opportunities that will come your way, and you are on the proper road to success. Remember by allowing our minds the freedom of silence that transcends to higher dimensions, we will find infinite possibilities. Our potential for success is only limited by what we think we know.

Every human mind has a powerful hole in the deepest section of the brain that can take the mind’s thoughts into what Einstein called the ‘Creative Mind of God.’ Einstein declared that he wanted to know what God is thinking! Everything else is mere details…and so it is. It is never too late in life to explore your mind’s links to creativity. What a power-force to guide us and establish an easy way to follow to prosperity! In “Advice to a Young Tradesman,” Benjamin Franklin the great American Economist, Diplomat, and Entrepreneur wrote, “In short, the way to wealth, if you desire it, is as plain as the way to market. It depends chiefly on two words, industry and frugality; that is, waste neither time nor money, but make the best use of both. Without industry and frugality, nothing will do, and with them everything.”
